L’hôpital du Dr.Schweitzer est situé sur une petite colline sur la rive droite de l’Ogooué, éloigné d’environ 6 kilomètres du centre ville de Lambaréné. Depuis 1981, l’hôpital Albert Schweitzer a consolidé les fonctions suivantes:
- Les soins ambulatoires et hospitaliers (bloc opératoire et chirurgie, médecine générale et tropicale, pédiatrie, maternité et gynécologie)
- Les consultations médicales et les soins primaires
- Les soins dentaires (clinique dentaire)
- Les soins préventifs (protection maternelle et infantile PMI, unité mobile de la clinique dentaire)
- Les soins remplis au titre de la solidarité nationale (Village des lépreux, psychiatrie, gériatrie, recherche ...)
- La recherche (laboratoire de recherches)"
Avec l'école de Vienne de la recherche clinique (VSCR), un "montage de membre" de l'EDCTP (European pays en développement et les essais cliniques) et le laboratoire de recherche à l'Hôpital Albert Schweitzer à Lambaréné sera offre un programme de formation pour les médecins africains

Mes fonctions dans le laboratoire de recherches montant à utiliser dans l'organisation (préparation, la mise en œuvre et de post-traitement) des cours de formation dans le domaine de la recherche clinique. La fusion des employés locaux dans l'organisation de stages de formation. Dans les études cliniques de la coordination des patients ou des participants. La participation et la mise en œuvre de cours dans le domaine de la recherche clinique dans d'autres pays africains "école de pilotage", et les activités administratives dans le laboratoire de recherche.
La décision, la raison pour laquelle je entrer dans le Centre de recherche de l'Hôpital Albert Schweitzer a choisi pour moi deux raisons, d'abord, je pense que la mentalité africaine et même la vie africaine est très intéressant, d'autre part, je viens du domaine des soins et ont également une thèse sur le HIV et le AIDS

My tasks in the research laboratory amount to use in the organization (preparation, implementation and post-processing) of training courses in the field of clinical research. The merging of local employees in the organization of training courses. In clinical studies the coordination of patient / participants. Participation and implementation of courses in the field of clinical research in other African countries "flying school", and administrative activities in the research laboratory.
The decision why I enter the Research Center of the Albert Schweitzer Hospital has chosen me for two reasons, firstly I think the African mentality and even the African life is very interesting, on the other hand, I come from the area of care and also have a Thesis on HIV and AIDS.
